Hello. I'm Marta, a 20-something year old avid DIY-er trapped in between two worlds, and this blog is a way to keep track of all things that inspire me...as well as my random thoughts... In the midst of my big move from a large city in New York to a not so large city in Croatia, I decided it was time to document my journey of falling into place...

Grass is always greener..or at least you think so.
Why do we always want what we can't have? When did that become human nature? You want the man, you get the man, you get sick of him. You want the dress, cant afford the dress, save up and buy it and all of a sudden..does my butt look extra huge in this or what? What ever happened to the cave man whacking his wife over the head and her being completely content? Blondes want to be brunettes and brunettes would die to be blondes. Is it that we have become such a society of self doubt and jealousy that no matter what the next man will have we will want? Is there ever a time when we will just be satisfied or is this concept of satisfaction just an imaginary friend?
